Acting
Dalia Marom grew up on stage and knew she wanted to be an actress from the age of eight when she would memorize scenes from movies and act them out for friends and family. Not to long after, her mom enrolled her in a local children’s theatre company in her hometown of Montreal, Quebec and she hasn’t looked back since. A graduate of Concordia University theatre program, Tom Todoroff Studios, Jock MacDonald-Carter Thor and Meisner with Jaqueline McClintock, Dalia has since been actively working in theatre, film, TV and commercials. Passionate driven and hard working, Dalia is known for her chameleon like ability that allows her to play a wide range of roles.
In 2003, Dalia was the face of the popular Quebec vodka cooler “Poppers Hard Ice” that continuously aired on various networks in 2003-2004 and ultimately began the dawning of her commercial success. In most recent times, Dalia co-starred in an episode of 2011 North American series 'Being Human' opposite series lead Sam Huntington and Montreal’s own Andreas Apergis. Other credits include: The original lead role in the Pilot Series 'PROCESS' opposite Sarah Barrable Tishauer 'Degrassi' and Tim Burd 'Saw'. She also produced, co-created and acted in a short film called 'FLAMINGO FLAMENCO' that won 3rd prize award at the 2880 film Blitz and was presented at the Actra Short Film Festival in Montreal in 2010. Other previous credits include: A role in The TV movie 'GRAVE OBSESSION' opposite Shannon Elizabeth, Christian Campbell, directed by Richard Roy; a Russian waitress in the 2008 WARNER BROTHERS PICTURE GET SMART starring Steve Carell, directed by Peter Segal and as Maria-The Cheatin Latina in the movie LET THE GAME BEGIN starring Steven Baldwin. More highlights are; the starring role of Cecilia, A lonely stripper, in the Indy short BACK ALLEY ROMANCE, that was presented at THE MONTREAL WORLD FILM FESTIVAL 2006. Finally Pushing the spectrum further, Dalia has also played a witch for the CD ROM video game BAVARIAN CASTLE NEUSCHWANSTEIN.

In the theatre scene, Dalia has worked with various theatre companies since she was child. Her most recent production was performing at the CENTAUR THEATRE’S WILDSIDE FESTIVAL 2007 with the 'Award winning' Theatre Company; Waking The Girl Productions, where she starred and toured in Gillian Ferrier’s original play MISERY LOVES COMPANY. Other theatre highlights include Waking Girl’s Production of the controversial feminist play THE FAIRIES ARE THIRSTY by Denise Boucher, where Dalia was nominated for 'best actress' at the GLBT HARVEST FESTIVAL in Montreal for her role as “The Statue” of the Virgin Mary. Dalia has also had the opportunity to tour North America with the world renowned Company MAD SCIENCE PRODUCTIONS, where she co-hosted and played a “country bumpkin” in an interactive kids show called 'FUNKY FARMWORKS'.
In her free time Dalia is also writing, developing and producing her own projects. Her long term aspiration is to adapt her mothers autobiography about her life growing up in Germany during and post World War II.
